Some favorite photos from the Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational.

Our housing hosts at this event were fantastic, and we fell for their adorable labrador retriever Kobe immediately. Patrick Saunders used this photo to create a gorgeous portrait of Kobe, as a gift to our housing hosts, that you can see on our Plein Air Streaming blog.

Patrick did a great painting of this tree thanks to our housings hosts, who were kind enough to show us all of their favorite places in the area. This Laguna Niguel park has trails all along the cliffs above the beach. It's a beautiful place for a walk or hike that our hosts frequently visit. Patrick was drawn to this tree jutting out of a cliff when we explored the trail with our hosts, and decided to paint it. You can see the painting on the Plein Air Streaming blog.
